Rules

  1. All the students should be present in the school before 9:20 a.m.
  2. On the teacher’s arrival in the classroom, the pupils must rise and remain standing till they have wished the teacher and take their seats. When attendance roll is called each one must rise and respond
  3. Punctual and regular attendance is insisted upon. Application for leave of absence should be submitted in case of absence. The parents may note that at least 80% attendance is required for promotion
  4. When a student has been absent from the school without leave for some unforeseen reason such as illness he / she must, on returning to the school, bring a leave note from his / her parents or guardian. Student suffering from contagious infectious disease will not be allowed to attend the classes.
  5. Irregular attendance, insubordination to teacher, habitual negligence of school work, obscenity in word or act are sufficient reasons for the temporary or permanent dismissal of the pupil. Minor offences such as coming late to class, not doing the home work, are punishable by fine.
  6. No student is allowed to leave the school campus during the working hours without the written permission of the princip al in the leave letter
  7. No student or Staff member will be called to the phone during the school hours. In case of Urgent message, received on the phone will be conveyed to the concerned.
  8. Visitors / Parents are strictly forbidden to enter the classrooms or corridors during the school hours.
  9. Progress records will be issued after the tests and mid-session examination. They shall be returned to the class teacher duly signed by the parent or guardian within 3 days of the issue.
  10. Children should wear the prescribed school uniform on all days. Those who do not come to school in the prescribed uniform will be fined.
  11. The boys should be with neat haircut and girls should tie the hair with black ribbons compulsorily.
  12. Children are advised not to wear golden bangles or bring any valuable things to the school.
  13. Books, Magazines, Newspaper etc., which are not approved by the school authority should not be brought to the school.
  14. Books, Umbrellas etc. should have the name of candidate or mark by which the owner can be easily identified. The unclaimed property should be brought to the office.
  15. The school is not responsible if the students lose their books, money, clothes etc., in the school premises. Students themselves must take care of their belongings.
  16. The students should behave in a refined manner wherever they go. They should always remember that the school is judged by their conduct. They should always greet their teachers, elders, friends in a pleasant and audible tone of voice wherever they meet them in school and outside.
  17. No student is allowed to speak loudly on the verandah, during school hours.
  18. Students should not throw papers, plastics, leaves etc. anywhere in the school grounds. They should use the dustbins provided.
  19. Students should not run / go in groups on the verandah.
  20. Jumping over the compound wall, scribbling on the walls, desks and books is strictly forbidden. Repeated offences will be met by fine.
  21. Pupils who are responsible for damages to the school property shall pay for the damages.
  22. Parents are encouraged to give positive suggestions for the improvements of academic standards.
  23. Attending the PTA meetings as well as other important functions in the school is a duty and service, parents owe to their children
  24. Parents are requested not to allow children to bring mobile phone, video games, CD or floppy or any similar gadgets to school. If found, the above gadgets will be confiscated and returned only at the end of the year.
  25. No collection of money for any purpose is allowed without the permission of the school authority.
  26. Involvement in any sort of malpractice during tests and examinations will be dealt with seriously.
  27. School is not responsible for any type of misconduct by the student outside its premises.
  28. Smoking and consumption of alcohol / use of drugs is a punishable offence; expulsion may be the consequence of such action.

29. Students are not allowed to take part in any competition against the school
